The Fallen Son

You once spoke the Word with anointing, power, and authority in prayer. Your gift to do battle in the spirit was given by His Spirit. Your heart was tender, your mind renewed, you walked adorned with the full armor, a shining warrior not knowing defeat! Your gift(s) filled you above your boundaries. Hearts were moved minds renewed by His Word passing through your lips. You kissed His feet He renewed your strength. Your love for Him was likened to David’s you danced before the Lord, your heart, your lips filled with praise!

Where is His shining warrior now? As in the garden He seeks you early in the cool of the morning and you are not to be found. He longs to empower your prayers. He looks for your tender humble heart. You are not to be found like the prodigal son you have embraced your inheritance to throw before the dogs. Your gift given to the swine, your heart is hardened and grows cold. Jezebel seduces you Pride embraces you. You rise up the standard of new gods and your actions reject Him. His heart is broken. Is it your hands that thrust the spear into His side? Why do you now reject Him?

Your breastplate pierced in battle, your helmet dashed to the ground. Where is the shining Sword you wield? Who shoe’s your feet now? You the beloved son defeated in battle. You run to the hills hidden in a cave to lick your wounds as a dog. Pride fills the temple. Humility has hidden its face from you. Eyes blind, ears cut away, once a warrior sounding the battle cry, now given to the depths of the earth, hidden to pine away. How His heart cries out to you! How He longs to embrace you once again! Beyond despair you must go, deep into the sea of despond you are.

Fall upon your knees, lay prostrate before Him. He longs to be glorified in your restoration. His heart pangs are felt throughout His body. All of its members weep. Travail they do in mourning they are. Return, return, return is their cry! Restore the priesthood of the home. Teach your children of His loving mercies that they may know His abounding grace! Look no more into yourself. Deny your fleshly desires. Humility, humility, humility brings you again to His feet. A time of restoration fill His hands showing before your face.

Your steed has thrown you now captured by the enemy. Grab your bridle, regain your mount. Lay you armor before the Smith, plunge the Sword into the Fire. Temper and polish shall restore your armor; humility will restore your gift. Increased, increased, increased your gift shall be. Throw your saddle across his back, bridled in full armor, nostrils flaring, pawing at the earth waiting for your leg to throw over his spine. Don your armor in His glory you will shine once more. Sound the shofar let the enemy tremble. His son has returned. The barley abib, ripe for the taking. Now, now, now is the time speak the Word of the Lord ever watchful of the enemy’s campaigns. Wielding His Sword once more proclaim there is no defeat. Early you will seek Him, daily He will renew you, ever guarding the precious gifts in your home.

You kiss her head she blesses you. Place your hands upon your children’s heads teach them the ways of the Lord, He will never depart from them. In this your battle begins. In this He shall strengthen you. He longs for His warrior to be restored. Do not proclaim defeat. Not every battle is won. Perfection is not wrought in the battle, but rather claimed in victory at the End of the war. He is the Alpha and Omega the Beginning and the End!

You are a beloved son! Warrior son rise up!

Return, return, return!

In Christ Jesus name return.

Saved For A Purpose

PictureOften religion is cruel and boring. It bottles up the creative impulse God has put inside of every person. Many Christians miss out on God encounters because they are satisfied with good theology. Don't be satisfied with opinions of men search out the fullness of what God has for you. You are God's favorite one  through Christ. He died for you... Food for thought.

Where Is The Holy Spirit?

PictureThe Holy Spirit is not only alive and well but much needed in America today. When we pursue kingdom principles above His presence, we are looking for the kingdom without a king. Food for thought...

What Is Your Destiny?

PictureWhen Heaven stops manifesting itself in the Church, Christians have to prove somehow that they are reasonable for following Jesus. What defines Greatness is doing ordinary things in an extraordinary way. The Holy Spirit empowers the Church to be more then it is as an institution and to operate in an extraordinary way. Be the Church, let Heaven manifest through you, and operate in extraordinary ways. You have the power of God inside of you through Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. Be possessed by Him. Food for thought. :)

Revival Comes!

Picture

Revival comes to those who pray not those who wait:) Quotes for thought :)

“No erudition, no purity of diction, no width of mental outlook, no flowers of eloquence, no grace of person can atone for lack of fire.  Prayer ascends by fire.  Flame gives prayer access as well as wings, acceptance as well as energy.  There is no incense without fire; no prayer without flame.” --- E. M. Bounds

“Bear up the hands that hang down, by faith and prayer; support the tottering knees.  Have you any days of fasting and prayer?  Storm the throne of grace and persevere therein, and mercy will come down.” ---John Wesley

“Oh that believers would become eternity conscious!  If we could live every moment of every day under the eye of God, if we did every act in the light of the judgment seat, if we sold every article in the light of the judgment seat. If we prayed every prayer in the light of the judgment seat, if we tithed all our possessions in the light of the judgment seat, if we preachers prepared every sermon with one eye on damned humanity and the other on the judgment seat – them we would have a Holy Ghost revival that would shake this earth and that, in no time at all, would liberate millions of precious souls.” --- Leonard Ravenhill

Until self-effacing men return again to spiritual leadership, we may expect a progressive deterioration in the quality of popular Christianity year after year till we reach the point where the grieved Holy Spirit withdraws – like the Shekinah from the Temple. --- Dr. A. W. Tozer

“Our praying, however, needs to be pressed and pursued with an energy that never tires, a persistency which will not be denied, and a courage which never fails.”   --- E. M. Bounds

Freewill Meets Sovereignty... Who Is In Control And Who Is In Charge?

PictureWe have to redefine what we mean by the sovereignty of God… There’s a difference between being in charge and being in control. God is in charge, but to think He’s in charge of everything is sad because that means He sponsored Hitler… God is not willing that any should perish, yet people are perishing. That means not everything is His will.

From David R. Bauer's Article "God Is Responsive"

The Bible does not consider that God’s practice of sometimes changing his mind in response to human initiative suggests a limitation of God’s sovereignty. The Bible indicates that God’s sovereignty is large enough to include a measure of human freedom and initiative. God sovereignly wills the divine-human relationship as described in the Bible, and has thus constituted his human creatures as true persons who possess the capacity for moral freedom.

I do not believe that the doctrine of the sovereignty of God means that God has predestined everything, in the sense that God absolutely and directly causes it to happen. Rather, God’s sovereignty means that the universe has meaning and order. There are some things that must happen, such as the fulfillment of prophecy in accordance with God’s purposes. There are many things that may happen, given the freedom God has bestowed upon humanity. But God is sovereignly at work in all these things, so that each in its own way contributes to the realization of God’s good purposes (Romans 8:28). The responsiveness of God, then, expresses God’s sovereignty and serves the purposes of God’s love.

The Irresistible God

Jesus was the desire of the nations. His body – us – should be the desire of the nations because  He’s irresistible. It’s a great time to be alive. It’s probably a great time to be dead too – I don’t know. I'm not dead. So many of us act as though we are dead and not alive. How in the world is the world going to think us irresistible because we serve the irresistible God? We turn to TV, movies, video games, texting, computers, food, alcohol, drugs, porn, impure sex, and many other questionable activities searching to be fulfilled somehow.

If we discover the irresistible love of Christ, and follow this irresistible God then all these things become unfulfilling and resistible. Become an irresistible person/people. Be alive not dead do something that God's truly stirring you to do. Do it in love. Be irresistible. Food for thought. Be blessed.

ON SICKNESS SIN AND DEATH

Once I was asked if God desires one to be sick for a purpose. My response was never. This provoked the question "then what about this sick person or that sick person that God has used in a mighty way"? My reply was this -

What is the will of God? On earth as it is in heaven. If it doesn’t exist there, it’s not supposed to exist here. If it does exist there, it’s supposed to exist here. I can’t promise that every person I pray for is going to be healed. I’m not at that place yet. But I can ensure that they’re going to be loved. Do you know why we pray for the sick? Because we want Jesus to get what he paid for. We’re just passing along a check that somebody else wrote. When Jesus performed miracles, he wasn’t demonstrating what God can do, but what God can do through a man.

Everyone Jesus prayed for to be healed was healed. God's perfect will is that we win the battles in life that we take the power He has given us to win the war. The battles against sickness, sin, and death are just that... battles. We lose battles but we have the power of God within us which never fails. Even empowered man walks somewhere between total victory in every battle and the possibility of failure... but we can win if we persist and do not grow weary. I say never stop praying and believing for total victory in every battle, against every sickness, against every sin, and for every salvation. God desires that no one should parish and that all should live a totally victorious life. Food for thought:)

Be blessed

From Dr Michael Brown's "The Jesus Manifesto"

PictureThis is our sacred moment, our solemn time for action. If we will unshackle ourselves from the love of this world – from our lusts, our addictions, our obsessions – and give ourselves wholly to the purposes of God, we can shake this nation. If we learn the principle that to save our lives is to lose our lives, while to lose our lives for the Lord is to save our lives, then we can really live. As Martin Luther King declared in 1965, “A man dies when he refuses to stand up for that which is right; a man dies when he refuses to stand up for justice; a man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true.” It’s time we take our stand!

PictureRelationships

For those of you who feel closest to God in less conventional ways or situations, be encouraged. Be thankful you see and experience a part of God when you are running or playing sports or painting or serving – whatever your expression of intimacy. And don't try to fit into someone else's way of connecting, even if you admire them.

Relationships are established by learning about each other, and how to trust and be trusted. We do this as we spend time together. Relationship with God is the same, but here is the kicker: He is always trustworthy. He is also consistently available, no matter what. As you get to know God and learn who He is and who you are, embrace the moments you hear Him, sense Him, just plain know He's there – and enjoy Him.
Bless And Do Not Curse... Build And Do Not Tear Down

PictureA bridge connects the land it's coming from to the land it's going to. Part of being the Church is building bridges from the generations that were and are to the generations to come. The great commission is going and making disciples which is a bridge from those who have knowledge and wisdom to those who need knowledge and wisdom.

We suffer at making disciples when we cut or tear down the bridge. Since the completion of Christ's ministry until now there have been tens of thousands of church splinters, factions, groups, and denominations that neglect the high priestly prayer of Jesus to the Father in John 17... one Body, one Bride through separation and isolation. Does the world know that God the Father sent Jesus the Son? Are you sure? Prayerfully consider one of the most important prayers Jesus prays to the Father. The world is watching us. We are those that represent Jesus. Do we re-present Him well?

"I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. "Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. "O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them." John 17:20-26 NASB

One Body, One Bride. Making disciples requires bridges from our forefathers. Be a bridge builder we need each other more then we  know. "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34  Food for thought:) Be very blessed:)

PictureBreaking Strongholds and keep them Broken!

1. AUTHORITY -- Every believer has the right to use the authority of Jesus' name to bind and take authority over Satan's activities. "No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house" (Mark 3:27). Issue a spoken command to the devil that he is bound and he must leave the stronghold! Exercising authority in the name of Jesus will expel the Devil's influence. "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues..." (Mark 16:17).,

2. INTERCESSION -- Come together with other believers to pray and intercede against strongholds until you get results. There is intensified power in the gathering of more believers. Prayer with fasting intensifies faith, and faith will break strongholds. "Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast him out? However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Matthew 17:19,21).,

3. DISPLACEMENT -- Establish the presence of God. Where Satan has been commanded to leave, fill it up with God's presence. Where the presence of the Lord is, the Devil isn't! Satan doesn't want to hang around where people are lifting up Jesus in worship, in singing and prayer. The presence of the Lord displaces the Devil. "For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14).,

4. RESISTANCE -- Submit yourselves and draw close to God. The Bible says this is how we resist Satan and he will flee. The Devil runs from submitted, yielded Christians. He runs from your life, and will run away from where you go. "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).,

5. OCCUPATION -- Give no place or vacancy to the Devil. With Satan departed, fill the void with God. Let righteousness be the standard rule and behavior. Provide no pocket of rebellion, corruption or immorality in which Satan can find refuge to rebuild his influence or strength. The scripture says to not "give place to the devil" (Eph. 4:27).,

 6. FORTIFICATION -- Clothe yourself with God's armor. Take upon you daily, the full array of God's spiritual equipment that you may maintain battle-ready status. With the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit (God's Word) and the other links of armor (Eph. 6:13-17), you will be ready to resist any satanic assault, and will be ready to engage the strongholds in others. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11).
Kris Vallotton Oneness

Kris Vallotton shares a message on a bold topic of oneness in God after being born again in spirit. Awesome stand to say it like it is. With teaching like this there is hope for us to realize our full identity in Christ. Thanks Kris www.kvministries.com.

A REASONABLE PERSPECTIVE ON JOHN 17 -

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. "I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. "Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. "I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. "Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. "I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. "I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. "While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled. "But now I come to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves. "I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. "I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. "They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. "Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. "As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. "For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. "O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.", (Joh 17:1-26)
Kris Vallotton -

"Your Identity as Sons of God"

Kris shares about how most believers have no idea who they are called to be. In a nutshell, Kris explains that we are called to be sons of God and in understanding that, we ought to behave as such., "The devil knows who you are, and God knows who you are... creation knows who you are, it's only YOU who don't know who the heck you are.", "What's the point? You rock, you just don't know it.", "The reason why you do miracles is because your Daddy is God", "When you act like God, you are being yourself", "You were born to torment the tormentor", "You can always tell the size of a man by the size of the problem it takes to discourage him.", "You rock, and you didn't even do it to you"

Moving From Prayers Of Petitions To Prayers Of Power!

To Prayers Of Worship Abiding In His Presence To Prayers Of Power, Declaration, And Prophesy. Prayer Earth To Heaven, Prayer Heaven To Heaven, Prayer From Heaven To Earth

PictureMost often we remain in prayers of petition a prayer from Earth to Heaven (about self need) -

But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your petition has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will give him the name John., (Luk 1:13)
With all prayer and petition pray at all times in Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, (Eph 6:18)

A prayer that touches God's heart as King David prayed and was called "a man after God's own heart"... a prayer from Heaven to Heaven (about delighting in His presence, worshiping Him, glorifying Him, honoring Him)

"After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, 'I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do all My will.' (Act 13:22)

So David blessed the LORD in the sight of all the assembly; and David said, "Blessed are You, O LORD God of Israel our father, forever and ever. "Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. "Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. "Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.
(1Ch 29:10-13) Psalm 145 and so many more...

A prayer that shakes heaven and earth is a prayer from Heaven to Earth (prayers of power, declaration, and prophesy directed by God/The Holy Spirit as one is possessed by Him not our prayers but His through us... not witchcraft (for self gain) but miracles and prophecies) -

Jesus took him aside from the crowd, by himself, and put His fingers into his ears, and after spitting, He touched his tongue with the saliva; and looking up to heaven with a deep sigh, He *said to him, "Ephphatha!" that is, "Be opened!" And his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was removed, and he began speaking plainly. (Mar 7:33-35)
And standing over her, He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she immediately got up and waited on them. (Luk 4:39) He *said to them, "Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?" Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. (Mat 8:26)
And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing. (Luk 9:1-2) And it happened that the father of Publius was lying in bed afflicted with recurrent fever and dysentery; and Paul went in to see him and after he had prayed, he laid his hands on him and healed him. (Act 28:8)

It is time for a people of prayer to rise up beyond petition, through earth to heaven, heaven to heaven, and become a people of prayer from heaven to earth. This comes through much prayer and fasting... beyond petition to practicing His presence as King David "a man after His own heart"... Food For Thought. Be very blessed. Pastor Dan
